The story revolves around a 12 year old (human years)werewolf who is human during day and monster wolf by night. Her name is Asha. She was trained for battle and she could really do many types of fighting techniques, but when the real fight comes, she hides. Her clan the mid-moons don't know what to do with her. She could help with the clan's needs, but there are people who already doing so and in a werewolves' pride, there is fierceness and skill in fighting. She becomes the doctor of the clan, but... The clan doesn't really encounter much trouble, just some minor diseases. She is not much use to the clan. Why is she not fighting? What is stopping her from fighting? Can she help her clan in any tough situations that might comes to her, even if she can't fight? Will she be able to over come it, once she finds out what it is?
