She grew up in a family of five In a small home in Portland, Oregon, where she's lived almost her whole life. With her determination and desperation to leave her parents home to discover her own destiny, she moved into a beautiful home on the opposite side of town with her husband, Jasper, when she had first fell in love at eighteen. She maintains balancing her career as a third grade teacher and her marriage pretty well, until something shook her reality as far as she knew it. She awoken one morning to news she had never seen coming. With her marriage and career hanging by a thread, her whole perspective on life is shifting for the worse as she watches it crumble apart. Her sister, Charlotte, is in serious need of help. Allison pushes past her limits to help her sister, but she needs the harmony that she can only find from within herself to help her first.
