This is a story with a twist - a sweet twist. The story unfolds in a very common location - the dentist's waiting room - where a common 12 year old, Rachel Neumann, experiences encounters - unfortunately also common in nature to some of us - with a little boy her age - until a very uncommon turn of events. This beautifully written story
poses a conglomeration of human character traits by shining the light on the thoughts and actions of this witty, strong girl and her waiting-room companion, and paints a picture of strength, kindness and unusual friendship. (Best thx for the review to Hibba Nasir)
