Murdoc and the reader have a chance encounter while Gorillaz is in town for their current tour. Language, alcohol, drugs, sexual situations. You've been warned. Blah blah blah. I'm an adult I write what I want. No, really. If you're looking for a decently realistic, well written, mature x reader fiction, this is your jam. Hopefully I also introduce you to some good new music along the way.

SOUR CANDY (2D x Murdoc) by MouldingCheese

2D wakes up with a headache, and goes downstairs to get his painkillers. Once he walks out of his room he bumps into Murdoc, and gets a wiff of a really good smell... 2D is astonished that the filthy bass player could smell that good but doesn't think much of it. They have a concert and Murdoc is being his usual filthy self, until they get home. 2D falls asleep next to Murdoc and after a while Murdoc falls asleep too, and in their sleep they start cuddling. Murdoc starts catching feelings for 2D but tries to ignore it, meanwhile Noodle is doing everything she can to get the two together. first chapter was written in my notes app when I was bored, didn't have anything else to do soooo Slight inspiration from Kingamorus's story 'Stalker'

(ON HATIS, sorry guys I literally have no ideas for the book anymore.) Murdoc and 2d hate each other. And that's that, they both understand that, and they're both ... somewhat fine with that. But... there's a few problems...murdoc's been feeling this weird feeling lately... about his 'hot kiss ass singer', But he's too stubborn to come face to face with it, so he pushes it down every time it tries to pop up. Problem solved, or so he thinks... Turns out the world is full of huge surprises, And murdoc can't help himself, which leads to confusing himself with feelings he has never felt before, as well as giving 2d the wrong idea. How many fights, misunderstandings, and make out sessions can these two idiots handle intel one of them pops? Hi so a word author to reader... the first part of this fanfic is pretty slow, meaning that part one is just a whole bunch of build up so you can understand the complexity of part two. So a little tip if your thinking of reading this, if you want to you can just skip part one to read part two, and be slightly confused but not bored, or you can read part one be bored-ish but know what is happening in part two. Murdoc was looking for a few extra guests to feature on Plastic Beach, and decided he'd go into town and choose one of those usually dirty street performers to keep for a while, maybe have the featured, or maybe just to have them work there. Murdoc assumed that because said person would be performing on the streets, they wouldn't be missed and no one would attempt to search for them. He was right about this, for when he swept you up and took you back to the beach, no one even batted an eye.
