Eventually, Alex did not died in the accident. The letter Kate sent through time actually saves him but... it is not what she thought things would turn out. Alex did not remember Kate. It came to a point where Kate is no longer sure of what is going on. Was it all just a dream? or Kate's overactive fantasy? Yet everything seem so real. They wrote to each other, they've met, he talks to her, touch her, kiss her and he really is real, but Alex Wyler did not remember her at all or know who she was. Did he loves her? FREE STORY. PAID BONUS CHAPTERS. DANGEROUS. BEAUTIFUL. SURREAL. Those were the words Jodie Henning used to describe the man she fell in love with, the first time she met him. HAZEL. BLACK. CRIMSON. Those were the colors she associated with his bright eyes, his long dark waves of hair and the scars on his back and upper chest. GUTTURAL. PRIMAL. SELFLESS. Those were the words she used to describe her time in bed with him, a time that edged itself into her memory, a time she continued to dream about for days and months afterwards. PAIN. HURT. RED. Those were everything she felt on his wedding day; throat closing, on the verge of tears, overwhelming sadness and pure pain. A SADDENING GLIMPSE OF HOPE That was what she felt when he came up behind her and whispered Shakespearean promises into her yearning ear. ALEXANDER MATEO HIDALGO III also known as Alex Clayton, number 77, left forward for the Seattle Kraken. But that changed since he got married, he barely shows up for shows or red carpets. The only place he can be spotted is the gym or the rink, with punching bags or hockey sticks. However, Alex is done playing by the book, he's done denying himself what he wants, what he needs. It's been four whole years, would she give him a chance to explain? Would she want to be a part of his dangerous world? Would she fall in love with him all over again? After all, she was the first person he opened up to, the first woman to see him for him; and for the first time in his entire life, he was scared of something that wasn't his life or duties to his family. It was a different kind of love, a love that burned mansions and cities, a Love that sparked with intimacy so much greater than sex. Four years isn't long enough to forget, is it?
