"What is it?" I asked as I looked at the supposedly world-changing machine. It looked like a tanning bed hooked up to lots and lots of monitors. It didn't really seem all that special to me. "We call it the Eden Weaver." The Professor replied. "Why?" I inquired once more. "Because, Child, we are all related to the inhabitants of Eden, are we not? And this device uses the genetic memory that resides within your DNA to take you back to a time when a certain ancestor of your's lived. YOU are time traveling, but your BODY is staying here in the present. Your chosen ancestor will be serving as a host as you live, act, and see through her eyes and body. It's all really one big logical time contradiction, or a temporal paradox, as I like to call it." Dr. DuPont thoroughly explained. "So you are saying that I, Giselle Acadia Beaumont, born in the year 2000 Ano Domini, could go all the way back in time and live through Eve. The Eve. The first woman. The one who ate the apple and betrayed God." I stated in disbelief. "That is what I am saying." Dr. DuPont echoed. "Dear God..." --------- About Genre: Honestly this book has lots of genres incorporated into one story. There are elements of Historical Fiction, Sci-Fi, Romance, Teen fiction, Fantasy, etc. I have chosen to place it in the Historical Fiction category because most of the story does take the place in the past! So just because you don't normally enjoy Historical Fiction, please don't rule this book out! Enjoy

Four years ago, a 13-year-old blackmailed me into friendship by holding my doughnut captive. We've been close ever since. I soon noticed that I wanted to be more than just friends. I was in love with my best friend. But sadly, he didn't feel the same way. I thought my world was over. I was crushed. But to my utmost yet most delighted surprise, I just happened to fall into the arms of a certain bad boy. Literally. He didn't just save me from what could've been a hell of a concussion that night. He saved my heart too. But hey, let's not get in over our heads now. It wasn't that easy. Not even close. After all, when two opposing worlds clash for the very first time, we can't just expect it to be all rainbows and sunshine. Now, do we?
