War...war never changes. In the thousands of years man has been around, wars have been fought and waged for money, religion, land, and power. The weapons may have changed over time, evolving from simple metal swords, to ballistic weapons, and eventually atomic bombs, but the concept of man-killing-man has always floated among the hearts of men. In the year 2077, the great war occurred, resulting in millions, if not billions of deaths. Those that were fortunate made it to one of the many vaults built around the country. Most of these vaults kept most of their inhabitants safe...most. Many vaults were meant to preform social experiments on the populous so that the government of the new world would rule much more efficiently.
Unfortunately, there is no government of this new world. The now called "wastelands" are only home to factions of raiders, small nations, the mutated monsters that roam the now torn nation.
But still, despite the freaks, psychos and crazies, war still hasn't changed, and man still fights, but there is one hope for this nation. One hope, clad in steel, developed through a tight and loyal brotherhood: The Brotherhood of Steel. Their forces, though not completely united, may be the best hope for Post-War America.
And so that leads our story to three heroes: a courier, a wanderer, and a survivor. All three of these men, unknown to each other of their roles in America's future, will reshape the world that was once burned in nuclear fire.
