Alisa Samson could only describe it like a puzzle but someone's lost the most important pieces. Similar to coming home and discovering someone has taken black ink and painted over all of your pictures, over all of your memories.
She doesn't remember a time where she felt like her memories were her own. Most of her life was spent trying to force puzzle pieces into places they didn't belong.
A chance meeting with the Sheriff's Deputy proves that Alisa's not the only one that loses time; and that she isn't the only one in this strange town that has secrets to hide.
