Wanderers: The Hull Patcher

A series of stories set around people during important moments in their lives in the future.
The first story is set around Alita Kysar, a hull patcher on O'Neill Station, and she has a decision to make. Alita has been offered a promotion to leader of her team, but she has a nagging feeling that there's something more out there for her, and it's forced Alita to examine her choices once more.
A manned expedition to Pluto, under the Hades I Mission, is recruiting for the crew of ten, and Alita wants to be part of it. Though, the choice that Alita has to make is in the timeless risk vs. security debate. Does she risk the chance that the promotion would be better for her in the long run? Or would the Hades I accept her as a crewmember, and Alita starts a new life as an explorer?
