Because of an "Incident" Anxiety falls ill, Thomas won't speak, Logic is mad, Morality is just trying to be a good dad (they tell the best jokes) and Prince is trying to figure out what in the world is going on.
Or
Thomas finds out that the inner workings of his mind are far bigger and more complex than he could ever imagine. Not everything is as it seems and his sudden journey to his subconscious is far more dangerous than he and his Sides are prepared for.

Never showing up for meetings and lessons, Virgil has become almost a legend, someone the lesser Sides look up to, admire almost, and someone the Upper Sides, aka Roman, Patton, and Logan, despise - a bad influence. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. The anxious side had a major mishap with the creative one during one of Thomas' videos. That happened again the next day, and the day after, and again. He denies to himself that this is happening, that he's somehow repeating the same, horrible day again and again. As much as he hopes tomorrow will come, it never does.
