This is my entry for SyFy's #BattleTheBeast contest. In it, Quentin and his friends seek out powerful allies to help combat The Beast, but are unpleasantly surprised at the outcome. This borrows elements from both the book and the show, crafting a tale of one attempt to rid the world of The Beast.
I've rating my story Mature for scenes of graphic magical violence and a few uses of strong language, though no worse than the book.

Seeing her situation makes her anxious about the situation of her three best friends and she could only hope and pray that their new start to life is going better than hers.
