After now losing both of his parents, Matthew moves into a care home 'The Nook'. After meeting the residents there, one person in particular catches Matthew's eye. The mysterious, quiet, girl Alicia. After discovering that Alicia stays silent in front of the other residents of 'The Nook', but decides to speak to him, Matthew is determined to find out why. Will the pair grow close enough for the two to confide in each other? Or will Alicia's past come between them?
