5000 years after the solar disease has taken hold of Earth, a young teenage boy named "Ultramarine" awakens from a death like sleep in an abandoned facility. He doesn't know much about himself, but he soon discovers that there are those out in the badlands that know more about him then he does about himself.

Will he find out what the truth is about the legion program? Will he ever find out why he was picked for the program?

(Yes this does have references to warhammer 40000, but doesn't not occur in the same era or include any races, just chapter names)
