Let me give you a hint: it's not one of her students! ** Excerpt** I get up and move to get the chocolate croissant I had almost forgotten. Or I would have, had the jerk not snatched it up first. He looked down on me daring me to say something. "Hey, that's mine. I paid for it!" He looked at me for a moment and the spilled food on the floor. The McDonald's bag had also spilled on the floor and two Big Mac's and large fries littered the floor. I think someone even stepped on my food. "Think of it as an apology," he says before passing me on his way out. "Besides," he says over his shoulder. "With all that food on the floor, I think you'll be fine without it...fatass." Excuse me? I fist my hands and feel my eye twitching in annoyance. This bastard. I reach for the Big Mac on the floor and aim right at his head. The burger flew out of my hand and landed on his back with a satisfying squelch and slid down his expensive suit. He stops. "My bad," I say in a sweet, innocent voice. "I was aiming for my mouth but it seems I've hit the asshole, instead." I smirk, so proud of myself. I look to my left and notice a bag with a chocolate croissant. It has my name on it. Oh shit. ** Poor Mercy can't catch a break. With her ex boyfriend and father continuously trying to contact her, she can't find some peace of mind. Don't forget the stepbitch, I mean mom, who is old enough to be her sister. Fortunately, she gets accepted to teach at a top notch private academy in Los Angeles (or a fancy shmancy high school as her friends like to call it). Finally, things seem to be falling into place for her, until she meets Liam Walker. And you can bet your fancy panties that he's going to give her a run for her money. And who exactly is Liam Walker? Well, he's the guy you don't want to piss off. And he's exactly the person Mercy pissed off. ⚠Warning⚠ This is my first time writing. It's like a draft before the draft. Please don't throw me to the wolves.

I felt as if someone had dropped a boulder on my fragile heart. He peppered kisses on her neck and she giggled in response. Right in front of my eyes. I clenched my fist. Their proximity suffocated me. I couldn't breathe. Jealousy and agony gave way to pure rage and without thinking, I jerked the woman out of his hold and pushed her away. "What the hell," she glared at me and I glared back at her before turning my gaze on Alex. "Who is she? And why is she here?" I asked him and could hear my voice shaking because of the enormous rage I was feeling in that moment. I wanted to kill him along with her. He scanned my expression for a moment and then flicked his gaze away as if I don't even exist. "Let's get you to my room," he was about to grab her hand when I grabbed his. I turned to face the woman and gave her a death glare, "Leave." "What," She flicked her gaze on Alex who looked as taken aback as her. I was overly tempted to pluck her eyes out for looking at him. "Eyes here. I am his wife and the lady of this house. And I want you gone. Leave," I gritted out. Completely forgotten that I was going to leave this house tonight. "Only in the paper. And I am the owner of this house," he hissed in my face in a warning tone and then looked at the woman. "Go to my room, Selena," he told her in a stern tone. He was annoyed not by her but by me. I could feel his temper rising, but it was nowhere near mine. My heart shattered in million pieces when he said that. A drop of tear rolled down my cheek as I saw the woman taking the stairs from my peripheral view. My eyes were fixed on Alex who had his jaw set and eyes glaring fire.
