Occasionally, I have the opportunity to write for UBOMAG. This article that I wrote with Delana Lands, talks about how we can all come together after the election. It's time to drop the hate that is a large part of the false narratives in the media today. If more of us got together and treated each other with respect and compassion, we would see that we really are not that far off in what we really want.
Don't let the hate run away with you and create fears that really are not there. Talk to your friends, and have your own "Peace Over Pancakes" meetings, and let's all come together to heal this divided nation. It's time to drop the hate and remember we are Americans, and that we are stronger if we stay together.

Words We sat on opposite sides of the room, she was asleep. I think he was exhausted, so was I,but we both didn't want to sleep. We couldn't sleep, maybe a bit scared that if we close our eyes then she will be gone. Nathan"I'll ask the nurses if they can organize a bed for you" Me" Am fine here" He didn't argue, for once he didn't try to control the situation. "You can get one for yourself" Nathan" I'll sleep next to her" For the next two days we spent waiting for her to wake up. Each day felt like a huge battle that we were losing, it felt like she was gone and maybe we both knew she was gone but we didn't want to admit it. Days turned into weeks, Nathan and I refused every suggestion the doctors made. Some days they said she was improving, would be taken to surgery then they would discover something new. It just felt like nothing was working, and our options were limited. Me" I can't stay here" He didn't answer me, I grabbed my things and went to the door. "Don't give up" He whispered, I turned around and looked at him. Me"I need to bring her toys here, I need to bring Mr Elephant, she needs her toys here." "I just need..." I bit my bottom lip fighting the tears "I'm sorry for everything" Pulling up in our drive way, my mind took me back to when Nate and I moved in here. The house has changed over the years, we have also grown up in a lot of ways. We were happy, we thought we had it all figured out and it turns out we knew nothing. I also never imagined myself here, in this house with him. Maybe subconsciously I know I don't belong here, maybe I am the reason my daughter is fighting for her life right now. My bad luck, why did I think I could be happy?. I drove back to the hospital and Nate was sleeping, I put the sandwich on the table then Mr Elephant next to Claire. Tatsu - The Threat
People experience pain in their lives. Some need it to live and find pleasure in it, but most run from it, they avoid it. Yet pain catches up to some of them. Just like it caught young Brian and destroyed his soul and consumed it with hate and avarice. Our world is a world of super powers blaming each other, competing to be number one and looking down on the little guys. A world of major religions hating each other yet professing love. There is an urgent need to stop pointing fingers and start working together. The lying needs to stop and the truth needs to be told. The people of the world should not be manipulated or limited in their vision of life. The new generations are kinder, more considerate, smarter. Equipped to fight the threat. The older generations have the experience, the wisdom. What can stop the peoples of the world. Tatsu - The Threat, is a journey into life itself. A melting pot of cultures, races and spiritualism in 95,000 words. Written for the young and old. It will make you see just how powerful people can be, and also how dangerous they can be. Imagine a girl who at the age of thirteen is a drug addict. Now imagine that same person a few years later as a student at MIT... I believe 9 out of 10 people reading this will not be able to do so. It is not because you don't have a wild imagination, but because our societies have made our heads so biased to what they think is proper, that our heads get stuck to stereotypes and prejudices. Every other way of thinking seems wrong. But, there always are a few rebels. The rebels who define the world as they see it. The rebels who don't let others define them. The rebels who break the barriers. The rebels for whom the sky, is just the lower limit. But the people look at them from a sight of disgust. They forget that these people have not had a simple life.... Bring in that thirteen year old a drug addict who graduated from the top of her class at MIT. That, my friend is me, Louissa Marx... I'm about to tell you a story about a girl. A normal girl. A girl that had no cares in the world, until her trust for it was stripped away. When you read her story, you'll find yourself trusting her, loving her, rooting for her. But you see, not everyone gets to trust the world. Not everyone has a happy ending. --- Halfway through the kiss however, his attitude changed; instead of being a loving embrace, it became a fierce trap.
