"Cheating is like casting. You need a lot of candidates to find the right person for the role of your soul mate. And you don't stop at your first selection, because someone more suitable for the part might come along. But you'll never know unless you give them a chance to audition."

If you fell for that, then you're not Nikki Fitz. Nikki Fitz never imagined cheating on someone, including her own boyfriend, as anything else but wrong. Until she met Jason Cool that is. Now she's not so sure. She keeps running into him and by the time they go on a little trip to the ocean, all those little rules and loopholes she comes to learn about may just start to feel legitimate.

Unexpected situations, a great deal of banter and a hot boy driving her crazy are all in store for Nikki's summer. It's a fine line between fun and trouble. Will she cross it?

The Best Kind of Betrayal

35 parts Complete

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
