Trystan has been alive for over a hundred years, yet she still looks like she is thirteen. She has been turned into a soul eating demon. Trystan is disgusted at what she has become. Now both her humanity and demonic monster inside are fighting for control. Henna and Lucy grew up in a deeply religious village. They believe they are witches that started a sickness raging in their village. While the villagers are not quite wrong about them having powers, they are on the run from the people who want to spill their blood. Lucy and Henna then wind up in Trystan's mansion. Unfortunately for them, while Trystan wants to let them go, her demonic nature thirsts for their souls. Just a little something I wrote for class a while ago.

*Sequel to CREATURES OF THE NIGHT / Cannot be read as a standalone* It's been three months since Elias' body went missing, and without him, the shifter village is falling apart. Milena, Eric, and Cassia must juggle searching for Elias and protecting their village from the hollowers lurking outside. But when a group of immortal hollowers attack the village and Milena is saved by a mysterious outsider claiming to know where Elias is and how to destroy the immortal hollowers once and for all, things start to change. Setting out on a journey to find Elias and a weapon she's not sure exists, Milena must learn who to trust--her friends or this new stranger. Because there are shadows in the night, and sometimes, they hide in plain sight.
