we have heard the Sohma curse but you did not hear was the forgotten legend of the true protector and leader of the zodiac. Akito had made sure that the legend was forgotten and made sure that all hope of her ever returning to save them was gone, and her is that legend 
God chose 14 animals to attend a banquet. the rat the ox the cat the bore the dog the snake the rabbit the tiger the horse the rooster the sheep the monkey and the dragon. God then looked to the wolf  and asked her to be their protector and leader, the dragon saw this and was jealous of her and plotted against her. he caused a diversion that called her away then took his chance and told all of the zodiacs that she had abandoned them and that he was their new leader. the God saw this and told the wolf and when she came back the banquet was over and only the dragon was there they fought and their fight shook the ground. the dragon won and killed her but with her last breath she cursed the dragon. God saw this fight and when the wolf died he took her spirit and she sat with him and watched the zodiacs suffer under the rule of the dragon for generations. there was always a wolf but it was always male and it is said that when the female wolf is finally born the zodiacs will be free from the dragon and she will be their protector and leader.
      that's how the legend goes and everyone just about lost hope until Blossom was born with blue hair and green eyes and she transforms into the female wolf.All Rights Reserved
