Something sinister has taken up residence on the outskirts of a peaceful wooded village.
Armed with makeshift weapons and warnings passed down through generational folklore, a small but determined community fights  to rid their home of the dangerous interloper, before it's wicked trickery leads to their ruin.

This story won Highly Commended in the international Inktears Short Story Competition, 2015
