Wanda's determined to be his caretaker, and learns that she's "walking it off" as much as Pietro is when it comes to accepting help, new family and change. (This is an alternate ending to the movie and the first in a series.)

Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much.
