Regina, a simple girl living in a world with Reapers. It's not as easy as it sounds to gain the title Reaper. Her dad is stepping down from his position to give her a chance to climb the ranks. One of the best things a Reaper could wish for is to be sent on a mission. Regina is given a mission much sooner than even a master Reaper. Regina, struggles with what is right and wrong. Is what she is doing worth all the pain?
She is merely a junior Reaper and suddenly been thrown in a world of mortals. Where the way they live is different. Not only that, but she must complete her mission because if she doesn't she will be stuck in the mortal world. One rule; Don't fall in love

With the newly arrived reaper, broad-shouldered with a charismatic, sly charm that was hard to withstand, I found myself engulfed in a bizarre investigation. Mysterious events began occurring within our rainy town, pointing indirectly toward my mysterious reaper. Amidst this chaos, an unlikely sentiment blossomed within me - love. As the investigation deepened, so did the connection between me and my reaper. It was an unexpected twist, a cosmic joke. I was no longer an icy fortress but a hopeful woman, falling in love with the man who was uncovering the darkest secrets of the people around me.
