Facing the Rain

Everyone has their demons. But for Tamotsu, a Japanese-born teen who's been raised in America since the age of five, problems are a little more deadly.

Unlike most people, his demon doesn't just haunt his mind. It has a physical form. It also happens to live in the same apartment complex, and is a dangerously manipulative serial killer who he calls "father."

Tamotsu does whatever it takes to keep himself alive, including keeping his father's dark secret hidden in the shadows where it belongs. He even assists in luring the innocent victims to his home, silencing them by any means necessary.

When the killer sets his eyes on Harper Graves, the pretty new girl who's just begun attending the teen's high school, the already unstable relationship between father and son may just take a turn for the worse. Will Tamotsu continue playing the role of the quiet and obedient child he's always been, or will he fight to become stronger for the girl he has the growing urge to protect?
