The story begins in a seemingly typical day at a school campus, filled with the usual hustle and bustle of students attending their classes, talking with friends, and preparing for the end of the school day. The characters, a diverse group of friends and classmates, go about their normal routines without any suspicion of the impending doom. With the school's phone lines down and no way to call for help, the students barricade themselves inside their classrooms. The realization of the outbreak sets in slowly as they face their fears and prepare for whatever horrors await them outside the walls. Some are terrified, others are in denial, but one thing is certain: their world has changed. Their survival instincts will be tested as the outbreak begins to tear their world apart.
