When the Turtle brothers were in the lab along with Splinter, a young girl hung out with her friend, who's father used to own the lab. Bella's parents had past tragically due to the Foot Clan and Shredder, she was only 3 at the time so she wouldn't remember it, only fragments of it. April's father had taken Bella in, and raised her along with April. Bella and April became close since then on. This girl is Bella Rosewood, and her friend was the daughter to the lab was April O'Neil. One day, unknown to Bella, she was injected a slightly altered Mutagen, by Eric Sacks. He wanted to test it out on something new, so that's when he chose to inject Bella. That was the same night that the Building was set a light. April and Bella had saved the turtles and Splinter.
