Aria is a city girl, just sixteen years old. Every summer when she was a child she would travel down to the seaside town where her auntie and two cousins live. But it's been years since she last saw them. However, this time when she goes back, things are a little more interesting than they were before. This time, she meets the gorgeous Chester Preston.

When they first meet, Aria wants nothing to do with the arrogant, rude, seaside boy who refers to her as the 'city girl'. But slowly, her hate for him turns into something else. Is there love in the air? Or is that just the smell of Chester's car leaking again?
