Lævateinn (The Dragon's Consortium: Grimguard/ Laevateinn)

The world of Grimguard has existed for as long as we know. It's people lived normal Victorian Era lives until a cataclysmic event rocked the planet causing a drastic change in society as a whole. Mankind was backed into a corner by the invading beings and have been forced to live lives of running. Survival of the fittest was the one truth left in this world.

Some fight alongside friends, some fight for themselves and others exploit the remaining human population as a resource for their own survival. Chaos has befallen the land and its people stand divided among themselves.

An accident results in a young boy, Zero, being infected by the curse of the land. In an attempt to save his life he was infused with the DNA of one of the alien beasts and a special relic believed to be a gift from the Gods themselves.

Now mankind limps on its last leg and in order to reclaim the planet they once lost they must learn to empoly the use of these hybrids like Zero with their supernatural abilities in order to defeat the creatures from the depths of space.

But a question remains: "Even as half beasts, why would the hybrids want to be used and what stops them from committing an orchestrated uprising?"
