I rolled my eyes. "That's all I ever am to you." "Not true!" He exclaimed. He placed his hands on my hips and closed the distance between us as he leaned on my door and me slightly on top of him. My breathing hitched and my lips were parted open. I truly didn't know how to react to this. Should I slap him? He brought his lips down to my ears and I felt his hot breath giving me goosebumps up and down my bare arms. "You're hot too..." He placed his always pink lips against my cheek oh so delicately. "But that's all you're getting from me. Unless you can show me that you're sexy too..."

The door clicked shut behind us, sealing away the world. My back pressed against it before I had even taken a breath. His hands, warm and sure, slid to my waist, pulling me in like he had been holding himself back all day and had finally broken. The scent of him - faint cologne mixed with something darker, headier - wrapped around me. My fingers found his lapel, curling tight, grounding myself against the storm in his eyes. "You have no idea," he murmured, voice low and ragged, "how hard it was... not to touch you like this." His forehead rested against mine for a heartbeat, his breath brushing my lips, and then - the restraint snapped. His arms caged me in, pulling me flush against him, every inch of him radiating heat. My pulse tripped over itself as his thumb traced my jaw, tilting my head just enough for his mouth to hover over mine. Every second stretched, thick with the weight of everything unspoken. And then he kissed me - deep, urgent, the kind that leaves you dizzy, the kind that says you're mine without a single word.
