Matt doesn't feel the happy emotions. He can barely tell black from white, metaphorically. There is no line between good, and bad. Every day is just another day to "endure". His thoughts don't drift to sex, nor men, and women. He himself has began to believe he is asexual, until he is thrown into the arms of Ryan Magee, the sunshine of the school. Maybe Matt isn't quite as cold as he believes himself to be. Ryan has never really payed close attention to people, things, or life in general. No one blames him for forgetting their birthday, hell he has too many friends to worry about one person, but when he catches this thin, blue-eyed boy, he can't help but memorize the faint blush which tints his cheeks.
