"She slept with wolves without fear, for the wolves knew a lion was amongst them."
                                                 -Robert M Drake

He howled at the moon to bring him peace. Instead it brought him a tornado with ocean eyes and a heartbeat.

She cried to the heavens to bring her release. Instead it brought her a flame locked inside a beast.

Ryder Kane was used to pain. It infiltrated her life at an early age, a never ceasing burn through all of her days. The struggles of reality had become engrained in her mind since the day she realized that the world wouldn't carry her.

She had to carry it.

Paul Lahote didn't believe in love, not until he met her. His life was a whir of anger and meaningless days. Ryder changed that, the second she locked eyes with him. His imprint, a gaurded fireball with ocean eyes- Ryder Kane became his world.

And slowly, but surely, he became hers, even if she didn't want him to.

Delilah Swan, who is as sweet as honey moves to Forks Washington to help her sister Bella through a heart break. Amidst the broken heart of Bella Swan, Delilah finds love with a certain wolf who tends to have a temper. Paul Lahote had always been against the idea of having an imprint until he felt his empty heart beat for the girl with honey colored hair and wild green eyes. "Delilah Swan. She was everything good about the world. I knew heaven existed the day I saw her holding onto Jacob's arm near the cliff. Her cheeks were slightly pink from the cold. I could hear her soft voice, and I knew then it was my favorite sound. Seeing her in the meadow in her little white dress with that pink bow in her hair, I knew I was done for. I'd do anything, be anything for her. I don't know what I did to deserve someone as good and pure as her." - Vanilla Perfume and Heaven
