The idea of not remembering things sounds spectacular to some people because they don't have to care about some things. But in some cases of memory loss, it feels like you've gone to sleep and woke up in a different time, having no knowledge of anything in that gap. Waking up and not remembering the past four years of your life doesn't seem too bad until you wake up with one leg, a wife, and a child you have no memory of. Arizona Robbins takes a fall the day after a big storm and seems to not remember Callie Torres, their child, the loss of her leg, or having just slept with another woman only two days before. Callie's convinced she can make her wife fall back in love with her - or at least get her to remember things, but most of the others think it's a long shot since they'd both changed. This is a story about falling back in love, trusting, and remembering all the good things.

When Arizona moves to New York with her daughter Sofia to be closer to her ex-wife Callie, she knows things may get complicated. She also knows what's best for her kid and she is willing to try and make it work between the two of them. What she doesn't know is if Callie wants to start things up again or if she'd rather just keep co-parenting. This is a story about relationships, family, motherhood, friendship and all of the things in life that it's worth fighting for. Mostly, it's about love. Callie and Arizona never really stopped loving each other, we all know that. So the real question is: will love be enough? ~ This story takes place in New York after Grey's Anatomy season 14 finale. It includes characters that belong to Shonda Rhimes and others I made up. ~ "I want to be with you, Arizona, because you are the woman who shows up. [...] I want that. I want the person who will come back to me, no matter how messed up things get, no matter how hard we fight or hurt each other. Because I don't believe we are done. We are not done fighting, we are not done hurting and we are not done having to apologize for it, but we are also not done loving each other." "I vow to love you, Calliope, in every way it is possibile for a human being to love another human being [...]. I vow to love you enough to stay [...]. I vow to love you enough to put your happiness before mine and my love for you before anything else. I vow to love you enough to be there, to be present, to show up, to encourage you, to lift you up when you are down and to lay down with you if you don't want to be lifted. I vow to love you so much that I will try to breathe for you if you need it, that I would give my life for yours at any time and that, no matter what, I will keep loving you."
