Over the course of a mere couple of days, Piper Milton finds her life flipped upside down. With her with her already widowed mother being buried six feet underground, Piper is left with nothing. Not a family member, nor anybody willing to take her in. At least, that was what she believed. After a surprise meeting with her late mother's lawyer, Piper discovers that she will not be sent to a foster home, nor and orphanage, but instead to live with her late mother's childhood friend, as it had been put in her will. Piper suddenly finds herself on a plane to Vegas to live with a man that she had never even heard of, Brendon Urie.
