Meet Florence, an orphan since..well birth. Raised in the atmosphere of an all-girls orphanage, she has learned that she doesn't 'fit' quite exactly into the girly status, leaving her isolated in her space, where the only thing she could possibly do is read, and research, and write. Alone. She has accustomed herself to stay isolated; she knows how to take care of herself, so she feels it's fine to carry herself, all alone, by herself.
