What if you had a free ticket for a murder? A "get out of jail free card"? Not everyone gets that one chance to save someone else's life. Nate was on the wrong bus at the right time and managed to get himself a little black stamp on the top right corner of his record. AKA; A card. One saved life = One free murder for the life saver. No consequences; no jail time, no death row, and certainly no heartbroken mothers talking you behind thick glass through a phone line. Unless you count a guilty conscience of course.

But just when she thought she could trust him, he took off the mask of a normal man, and hurt her in ways unimaginable. Trapped, she was forced into waiting out her time thinking of the world, her mom, and her life. She had to do something hard, she had to make a choice. She could stay and be hurt and trapped, but fed and warm, or leave and be cold and hungry, but free...
