Carter Devlin was a normal kid, he knew a lot of people at his school and they knew him. He wasn't popular, he was just kind to just about everybody, but his issues were just like the rest of everybody else's. Self esteem, confidence, social anxiety in large unknown crowds, he always helped but never looked for something in return.
That was until Zodiac, or at lease that's what the boy said his name was, Zodiac Sinclair, or just Zodi for short. He was the one person who was up all hours of the night counting stars, the type of person who loved giving hugs but hated receiving hugs, the one who made too many mistakes but called them,"beautiful mishaps."
The only problem was, Zodi lived in Beaverton, OR while Carter was in New York City. They talked everyday, texting, calling, video chatting, but Carter couldn't afford the plane ticket out and Zodi was only sixteen, Carter could end himself in trouble for just messaging Zodi, he's 19
