It's the year 5098. The Earth has suffered a terrible war with the Starry-Eyed. The Starry-Eyed, otherwise known as the Beamers, have invaded Earth. Beamers have come to Earth to beam humans and use them for experiments. They have completely black eyes, that can view the universe if stared into. Not all Beamers are bad, though. Some are ruthless and merciless, yet others are caring, curious, and lovable. Beamers cannot die, unless in combat, nor speak with the humans. This leads to a huge war. Few survivors remain. Civilization has parted into two groups. The Speros; whom believe in hope for the Beamers, and try saving them. There are also the Immities, who do not believe in any hope for the Beamers. They live to protect their kind. They live to kill the Starry-Eyed. Sid- a sixteen year-old Immity, who lives to protect himself and his family, Lyra- a sixteen year-old Starry-Eyed who lives in a lie.

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The Invaders Must Die
