Follow the story of a girl named McKenzie during her high school experience, re-told years later, when she’s asked to explain her adolescence. McKenzie wasn’t such an ‘average’ teenager, even in her own generations’ eyes. She was the type of girl to party all day and night long, have casual sexual relationships with men years older than her, and do loads of drugs. On top of that, she had to deal with a family that hated her. McKenzie spent her teenage years with no one but herself, and the people inside her head. She had to live through every day pretending she was normal, when she knew she was so far past sane it was unbearable to even think about. How long does it take for a teenage girl that has to deal with all that, to crack? Join McKenzie on her journey of thinking back, and remembering everything she wants to forget.
