This is just something I had the urge to put into a written form. I read 'The Royals' series by Erin Watt, and I have been a fan of Tijan's 'Fallen Crest High' series for years, and one night I thought what it would be like if those main characters met. This is what I came up with! 
I have no rights to any of the characters from the books (apart from Chloe), and this is in no way a full length story. 
I'm not sure if this is violating any copyrights so please let me know if it does.

Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.

This is first a contemplative look at fiction in general, and then a coming of age drama in which circumstances aspire to keep two lovers apart. I had a vision for this story, which I realized very well through its characters and plot if I do say so myself. I am sure you will enjoy this, and the ending may surprise you, but it is all for a reason. The title stems from the hobby of our protagonist at the story's beginning; it is not about American football. The plot is the same as my former unfinished project "Hanging by a Moment"; certain things have been modified, but the main story is exactly the same. I hope that it makes you think as much as I had to think to write it.
