A companion fic to Rules of the Game (slash, RenBya), based five years in the past. It's finally winter break. Rangiku's birthday has come and gone, and since Gin couldn't spend it with her, he wants to give her something very special. However, they soon find out that their romance isn't exactly a bed of roses. But then, Gin already knew that.
This happens before You Don't Believe in Ghosts? as well. It's another old fic, but it's not half bad to be honest. This can be read as a standalone so if slash squicks you, you needn't see it.
