Hold My Heart (Scomiche AU)
Scott is a hard-core believer in true love. How could he not be, considering all the successful relationships surrounding him? His parents are going on their 35th wedding anniversary, his sister is newly married, his best friend is engaged, and half of the students in his 3 PM discussion section seem to be deeply infatuated with one another. So, he hasn't found "the one" yet, but that doesn't stop him from believing that he's out there. Scott's nothing special, so there's no reason he shouldn't find love, just like everyone else. He's not worried; when it happens, it'll happen. Mitch has always believed in true love--until now. Now, he's just tired of love. He's been "in love" with three different guys in the past five years, and he's done his heart shredded and stomped on time and time again. Mitch has always been the type to fall quickly and love wholeheartedly, but he's a sensitive creature, and he's not sure he can survive another heartbreak after all he's been through. He told himself he was going to stay away from love for a long, long time, but how can he resist the baby blue eyes and bright smile of the friendly professor next door?Complete

Hickey's were hard to hide. That was one of the thoughts circling in Mitch's head when he stood in front of the mirror that morning. He touched the purple marks and squinted, hoping that maybe they weren't that noticeable, but knew that it was a lost cause. They were all over his collarbone, his shoulder. High up into his neck and behind his ear. He sighed and threw his head back, closing his eyes for the moment. // one shot/short story,, not the most original plot ever, but it's fun to write. // 22.5KComplete
