Diana (Niall Horan AU)

'I looked down at her arm, where I thought I'd been mistaken before. They were as prominent as ever, the faded pink lines. Over and over and over again, that contrasted deeply with the paleness of her skin. She hadn't noticed I'd been staring, but I nonetheless brought her wrist up and pressed my lips gently against her scars.

"I still think you're beautiful," I whisper, gazing intensely into the depths of her eyes. They quickly filled with unshed tears, threatening to overflow. She takes her arm back while slowly pulling up her sleeve and avoiding my eyes. I stand up and walk over to my bag, unzipping the smallest pouch. Once I found what I was looking for, I walk back over and sit down next to her again. I grab her arm while rolling up her sleeve before taking off the cap of the pen, and write only four letters: Niall.'
