Alina has lived on the planet 'Nexus' with her mother Hilda,  since she was a newborn. Her family are the guardians of the Ninja Nexus Prism, that contained the Ninja Power Star. So for eight years, Alina's mother has been protecting the Prism from falling in the wrong hands. 

Until a galaxy warrior known as Galvanax heard of The Nexus Star and was on his way to the Planet, to steal it.
