Forced to accept the ways of society and the unhealthy government, Charlie Daine must find way to control her abilities, help her friends, and keep her family safe when injustice falls and the children of Weingardia are put on the front lines of the battlefield.
Charlie is a sixteen year old girl with a thirty year old's problems. The people of Weingardia grow into powers as they mature into their late twenties and early thirties, then they must use them for the good of the country. Some powers heal, others destroy. It all comes down to how useful you are, but when charlie gains her powers before she's even sixteen, along with others of her age, she's put on the front lines of battle.
As she grows so does her powers, already stronger than the adults. The government wants her dead, but she has the will to survive.
