As soon as I hear it I don't know what I should think of, or what I should do. All I could think of is that I know to myself that my future doesn't belong to me anymore. In this type of life, you get to sacrifice one's life in order to save the entire bloodline. Unfortunately in this lifetime, it's me. "Please, Dad. There should be another solution, right? There should be!" I exclaimed, clearly panicking. "They compromised that much, it's the last option there is with the least damage. Don't worry, darling. The final decision is from their granddaughter, if she gets to dislike you after 5 months she can stop the marriage. For now, you just have to be stuck with her for 5 months." I wanna be selfish. I badly want to but if I do, what will happen to my family right? I'd have to do it and hopefully, she will stop the marriage herself. "Okay." I said, hopelessness is evident in my voice. I said and giggle, hold her arm to soothe her anger hoping it will work. "I know what 'fell down the stairs' looks like, Beck. But don't worry, love. I'll handle it, okay?" She said in her calm voice, trying to assure me but all I get is anxiousness. "He wouldn't dare to do that again." She said, smile and kiss my cheeks. I'm not scared because of what Freen will do to them, I'm more scared of what my dad will do to her. But little did I know who she truly is..
