At the same time he still comes to Soonyoung's house for his own gain, profit and advantage (of what SY provides of financial comfort, his daily living and stable mentality). Even though, Jihoon works secretly as a mafia leader and study at the same time. He knows Soonyoung often works nighttime so he took chance to take his time and be relaxed (obviously of not being exposed) To fulfill the duty, Jihoon acts as playboy towards Soonyoung to get his trust deeply. And Soonyoung doesn't want to push him away because of his dark past and tries to be normal with his treatment. He ignores Jihoon's attempts and just tries to be his self as an assigned police, he takes care of Jihoon and tries to not hurt him. The chief could fire Drew for messing with family business, but Drew reluctantly agrees to tail Ike. The trail leads to a speakeasy and the mushrooming business of organized crime during Prohibition in Chicago. Clues from the Ebony Gardens murder point to the same gang, but the gangsters can smell Drew coming, and bullets are cheap. By the time Drew enters the seductive orbit of a mink-eyed vixen addicted to risk, he's in over his head. If he isn't shot full of daylight by gangster tommy guns, he'll drown in Bianca's perfumed embrace. It's enough to make a gumshoe readjust his fedora. ----- This noir flavored detective yarn is set 100 years back in time. It's a bit grittier than my usual breezy output. This story is basically clean and I did not flag it as mature. However, darker human failings (alcohol use, sexual desire, and violence) drive the plot. I don't dwell on those aspects, but it's definitely a story for grownups. The intended audience is new adult or adult. Winner! 2022 Amby Awards, Mystery and Thriller category. Thank you all current and future readers for taking a look at my first Wattpad publication. Now, for a secret. _Murdersphere Mosaic_ is the rough-draft sequel to _Blue Collar Immortal_. It did not start that way, but once I got going, a lot of thing fell into place, namely that despite starting with the intention to do fanfiction, I did not commit to actually "living" in the milieus of the Marvel or even DC Universe. They became set pieces, prop-culture references and points of familiarity for the protagonist. I am turning _Murdersphere Mosaic_ into a first draft and I plan to re-develop set life on IC-CG1. I'm stripping out the Marvel and DC references, but it will definitely be recognizable as a super-science, comic book influenced environment. The idea is quite exciting. Because this turned into a sequel, I want all of you to have the whole story. So, I am going to serialize _Blue Collar Immortal_ on Wattpad, one chapter a week, starting Friday, September 19, 2014. If you do not want to wait, or you want a different format, I have dropped the price of _Blue Collar Immortal_ to $0.99 in the Kindle store.
