Lee Jiyeon is a young lawyer who believes that victims deserve justice.
Two years ago she was battling her first case for a teenage girl who was raped by an older man on her work placement. She wanted to give justice to that teenage girl but lost the case as the court sided with him.
As soon as she lost the case, she was publicly embarrassed and humiliated. Her parents couldn't stand the shame so they ousted her from the house and their lives.
She shifts to a different city, called Seoul, to be away from her hometown and all the degradation she was receiving.
Two years later, she hears a case about a boy named Jeon Jungkook, who is accused of murdering his girlfriend. All allegations point towards him. However Jiyeon doesn't believe that Jungkook is the murderer but thinks someone else is.
Knowing this is her first ever murder case, she wants to bring justice for Jungkook, who was quietly suffering in prison, and for his girlfriend. She has to go through blood, sweat and tears to win this case whatever it takes.
Along the way, she experiences a journey of mystery, drama, and tragedy.
