In the shadows of Phoenia, the city where all crime is legal, the assassins come out to play. Orion discovers a large bounty on his family's head for unspecified reasons and seeks to become an assassin himself so he can learn how to defend his family. He's given an instructor who turns out to be the most deadly assassin in the city: Inferno. While Orion uncovers the mystery as to why his family is so wanted, Inferno is dealing with issues of her own: she can't handle her emotions, feeling too guilty for every death. She is heavily sought after, a heavy price for her head, but she has to worry more about her own assassinry killing her if she can't stop her emotions interfering with her targets.
