Blood oozed slowly down the stairs, creating an ugly stain on the elegant carpet. There was no trace of why, just who and how, and it was up to us to find out. There she laid, a mother that gave everything she had, even her life, to protect her little girl. Slowly, the door swung open and the sobs grew louder. Her voice was barely audible, full of fear. "Is it gone? Is it gone?" She asked over and over again rocking back and forth.
That was ten years ago and the once little girl was now a teenager. She was still looking for the one that was responsible for that horrible accident. She still woke up screaming for her mother hoping that it was all a bad dream, but it wouldn't go away.

I awoke to shuffling in my room. I looked over to my alarm clock. 2:47. The hell? The shuffling comes closer to my bed and I tense when I see a shadow of a man. INSIGHT ON MAI DIARY
The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible. There was someone already on the other side of the door, however, and I screamed. Girl x Girl I suppose?? "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. The hand that was on my breast had moved to my waist, keeping me close even as I tipped towards him. His hand was still on my sex, leisurely teasing the area. "Please," I whispered. Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek.
