Lady of Mist and Shadow

Selkie Nualeth should be dead. Her pointed ears and powerful magic mark her as one of the last remaining Aurelians, a race that was long ago swept from the world. But as a Lady of the Valkan Court, Selkie has been protected for all 24 years of her life. Yet with the upcoming Omiance, a once every century ceremony where the courts will come together to perform sacred rituals once more, her life once again dangles in the balance.

Bound to go to Omiance by the rules of her court, Selkie will have to navigate her way through pirates and monsters, some promising her gold and jewels and others wanting her dead. She will need to figure out who she trusts before she is compromised, and who wants her head before she places her faith in the wrong place.

Though the Courts are very different, Selkie will have to trust beyond the borders of her own if she wants to survive-- and overthrow-- the powerful darkness coming to Elrosiea that all begins with a young Aekaten named Erron.
