Ophelia is a spunky, pink-haired writer just trying to live a normal life with her best friend, Holly on the Oregon coast. When said best friend, however, drags her to yet another blind date, she can't help but feel she'll never leave the cycle of pouring perfectly good wine on lousy douche bags who try to put their hands on her too soon. Holly is a shitty matchmaker after all. All of that changes when she lays her eyes on Mr. High and Mighty aka Cain Moretti aka one sexy ass motherfucker.
Ophelia can't put her finger on why she feels such a strong attraction to the man. Every time she tries not to think about him, she only seems to crave him more. And although she tries not to succumb to the feelings she has for this man that is practically a stranger, she can't help but let him get closer to her.
Before she knows it, Ophelia is dragged - literally - into the mysterious and dangerous world of Cain. Of werewolves. Of things she had grown up thinking weren't real.
