Jane Chatwin has failed to defeat the beast the past thirteen cycles and now she hopes adding a new addition to the Fillory books will help change that.
--------------
A/N: I know some of my facts are off, but because Jane changes things each cycle, I decided to take some liberties. I wish I could add so much more, which I might once the contest is over, but this is the best I can do with 1,500 words.

The War Against Aberon (Rough Draft #1) by SIYwrites
33 parts Complete
Vale Havon and Aberon had been at war for thirty years. Three decades of battle on the Eastern plains of Vale Havon's lands. This is why on the Western side Zaffre felt pretty safe. Helping her parents run the farm is her only duty and she was happy to do it. Things change, however, when her father gets sick. Bedridden he can't help with any of the dawn til' dusk work, and Zaffre is unsure if she can pick up the slack. Worse is the sudden death of their animals. With the autumn harvest on its way and already two horses down, things look bleak. The war still wages, and as more troops die Vale Havon grows more desperate. The Royal family is willing to do anything to save their kingdom. To keep their power. So, the drafts begin. Suddenly the Western border is not safe anymore. Zaffre knows if she's sent to fight her mother can't keep the farm running. So she goes into hiding. Except no secret stays hidden, and Zaffre's role in the world is far bigger than simply harvesting plants. Everything just got a whole lot more complicated. Excerpt: A cold sweat began to trickle its way down her back and a shiver traveled up her spine. It was when the hair on the back of her neck stood on the end that she realized something was wrong. She took a few more steps forward in the dark forest when she finally comprehended the thing that flashed a warning in her instincts. The sounds of the woods she'd been hearing all night, the birds, crickets, and scuttering squirrels had all gone silent. That only meant one thing, and one thing only, a predator was on the hunt. This time it wasn't her. *Trigger Warning, the book contains, violence, blood, fighting
To Bewitch A Beast by greenwriter

"Deliciously captivating! It's the perfect amount of laughs, love and drama. You won't be able to put this book down!" - Grace K @ HQ. When Agatha becomes the Everard's governess, she's grateful for a way to escape her dark past. That is until her growing feelings for the mysterious Lord of the house begin to present an even greater risk. ***** The Everard's are one of the most esteemed families in Wickhurst. And Benedict, the Lord of Devonshire and the eldest of the clan, is as mysterious and brooding as anyone The Town has ever seen. His face is marked with scars, and no one dares to speak on how he got them. Known to all as 'the beast,' the townsfolk tremble in his wake. But little does he know that he is about to meet his match in Agatha Blair, his sisters' new governess. Agatha is witty, smart and gives him a run for his money when he tries to peel back the layers of who she really is. She truly intrigues him more than any woman he has met but she is a governess and he is a Lord. The Town would shun the union of two people from different stations and any romance between them is surely a recipe for social disaster! But what can they do when the burning hot feelings refuse to relent? And when Benedict uncovers that Agatha is hiding a secret far more dangerous than anything he could have imagined, will love save the day and will Agatha finally tame the beast? *This story is a standalone title in the Everard Family series. UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2020: VERSION 2 OUT NOW. IT'S WAY BETTER. TRUST ME! MARCH 2019- I will be rewriting this book soon! There are some things that could use MAJOR changing... -_-;;; Just keep watch for the (REVISED... AGAIN) tag beside every chapter. Look below, even this description could use some major work. I'll work on it eventually. Until then, PLEASE read my original works instead, Petrified and Imagine. They will surely be more interesting than this book I wrote back in 5th grade, about 8 years ago... Cover by Amythic LOOK TO THE MIST TO FIND YOUR DESTINY... One day in MistClan a kit named Mistkit was born. She had always wanted to be leader since the day she began to see the world, and her siblings, Sedgekit and Ivykit, don't think she can be leader. Now she has to try to prove them wrong. Join Mistkit as she grows up in her adventures as a loyal MistClan warrior, and how she rose to the top to gain her victory as Miststar, leader of MistClan. This is a fan fiction book related to the series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Rated PG for the following: Sad bits Deaths Fighting Kit births (I cannot go into too much detail of that. That would be awfully disgusting.) People at least 8+ should read this. ^^ Unless you're a scared little kittypet who thinks they cannot handle it. Lol, JK. XD This book comes before in chronology: MistClan's path book 1: Into the clans ~MOST READ BOOK OF MINE!~
